More Leg was founded by Shelby Combs, a lifelong equestrian born and raised just outside Winter Garden, Florida. With over 20 years of riding experience, Shelby began her equestrian journey at the age of three, developing her skills through a unique blend of hunter-jumper training methods inspired by the best aspects of her past and current instructors. In 2019, Shelby discovered her passion for teaching by combining her background as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with Equine-Assisted Therapy through SpiritHorse International. Since then, her mission has been clear: to help individuals of all ages and abilities discover independence, confidence, and joy through their connection with horses.
At More Leg, the philosophy is simple — every rider deserves confidence, and every horse deserves respect, care, and expert guidance. The program welcomes riders of all levels, offering a safe and supportive environment where learning, growth, and connection with rescue horses come together to create unforgettable experiences.
